1. What we collect

Your phone number (for OTP verification), the profile information you choose to share (basic details, lifestyle, family background, photos, preferences, and Jodi DNA answers), and usage data like which profiles you view or interact with, so we can improve recommendations.

2. What we never collect or require

We never require your caste or sub-community — those fields are always optional. We don't sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

3. Who can see your information

Your profile visibility (everyone, recommended matches only, or hidden) and photo visibility are controlled by you, in your privacy settings. Your phone number is never shown to other members, no matter your visibility settings — it exists only for account verification.

4. How we use your data

• To show you relevant, compatibility-scored recommendations
• To verify your identity and keep the platform safe
• To investigate reports of abuse, harassment, or fake profiles
• To send you in-app notifications about matches, messages, and your account

5. Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, protected by row-level security so that only you (and, where necessary, our moderation team) can access your private information.

6. Your rights

You can review and edit your profile at any time, adjust your privacy settings, and delete your account from your profile settings — this removes your profile and photos from the platform. Contact us if you need help with a data request.
