Safety Tips

Last updated: September 2026

Most conversations on JodiPakki lead nowhere in particular — and that's fine. A few, hopefully, lead somewhere real. These tips are for the ones that do.

Before you meet

  • Video call before meeting in person — it's a normal, reasonable ask
  • Be cautious if someone avoids calls or video, or rushes to move off the platform immediately
  • Search their name and photos online if something feels inconsistent

Red flags to take seriously

  • Asking for money, cryptocurrency, or gift cards, for any reason
  • Professing serious feelings unusually fast, before you've properly met
  • Refusing to video call, or a profile picture that never quite matches who shows up on a call
  • Pressuring you to move quickly toward marriage or a decision

Meeting in person

  • Choose a public place for at least the first few meetings
  • Tell a friend or family member where you're going and when you expect to be back
  • Arrange your own way there and back
  • Trust your instincts — it's always okay to leave, or to say no to a meeting

If something feels wrong

Report the profile or conversation directly, and block the person — this is immediate and takes effect right away. If you believe you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
